Bill Liu (he/him/his)
Bill handles all things financial for BUYA. He has many years of financial experience working at various companies and nonprofits. Prior to joining BUYA, Bill was also the treasurer at Bay Area Disc Association between 2014-2016. Bill played for various club teams in the Bay Area club mixed scene and continues to have a passion for playing ultimate on the beach. He’s previously been a regular organizer of pick up games at Ocean Beach and Alameda Beach. He helped design the first Beach Series league, has played at the first three Beach Nationals and was one of the original organizers of the weeknight beach pick up games which still happens at Alameda Beach.
Veronica 'VRock' Cruz

VRock is the Program Manager for BUYA’s summer YCC teams. She handles all the program-wide logistics of the season: hiring coaches, ordering jerseys, reserving fields, and making travel arrangements (meals/transportation/lodging/etc) for the YCC travel tournament. VRock started playing ultimate at Stanford, where she co-captained Superfly to a College National Championship. She has played women’s (Nightlock) and mixed (BW, Mischief) adult club, but currently only plays pickup and rec leagues. She has coached high school girls and college women, and is a tournament director. Off the field, VRock works in software and enjoys supporting rhino conservation and playing competitive darts.
